Meditation is an important companion practice to energy work. Together, they help you see who you really are, on a soul level.
The truth is you are not who you think you are. You are not your personality, your body, your accomplishments, or who other people think you are. You cannot be defined by an identity, a career, or a relationship. You are not fixed. You are fluid. You are life itself, constantly changing. You are your flowing breath. And like each new breath, you too are new in each moment.
Yet the mind has a way of defining us in fixed terms, or telling us that nothing is changing. The mind often fears change, fears the unknown, and believe it or not, fears love, peace, and joy too. If you don’t have what you want, it’s because, either consciously or unconsciously, you fear you can’t have it.
Thankfully, however, there’s no need to believe your fear. Meditation creates space between you and your mind, so you can recognize when the over-protective ego is telling you a self-deprecating story. The mind is the mind. It does what it does because it’s afraid, and that’s OK. As your self-awareness increases, you are much less likely to adopt the human illusion that pure joy or true love are somehow unattainable. At this very moment, as we speak, you are remembering who you really are.
You are divine. You are infinite. You ARE the love you want.
What’s the Relationship between Energy Work and Meditation?
Energy healing delivers pure love, better allowing you to trust, open up, and receive whatever is in your highest good. When you know the love at your core, you effortlessly radiate love wherever you go, and you see love reflected back to you by others.
In between our sessions, I recommend that you meditate. The more present you are, the easier it is to notice when you’ve fallen into an illusion of the mind that says you or someone else is “less than.” Meditating regularly will help you remember the higher truth.
We are expanding our view and therefore expanding our joy. As you relax with the help of meditation and energy work, your internal dialog becomes more calm and supportive. Energy work raises your vibration to align you with your higher self, and regular meditation helps you practice being present as positive transformation takes place.
You are a soul in a human body. The energy work that we will do together puts your human self in contact with your soul, so you can see yourself and the world from a broader, more loving perspective. Your willingness to notice the mind AND to simultaneously notice your infinite nature IS presence. Meditation not only makes this possible, it makes life far more effortless and exciting.
